Vector rebuild prints for Gustave Dore’s illustrations of Orlando Furioso

One of my favorite project modes is that of repairing — and often rebuilding as vector — classic artwork that’s gone out of copyright, or was never in it in the first place. The chance to learn and share this stuff cheers my archivist’s heart, and enough of the rebuilds sell that most months, between this and map restoration, I get to eat and feed the cats.

Gustave Dore is one of my favorite artists to rebuild, and this particular set is one of my favorites of his work.
